What can a patient do legally?
Ask a physician about prescription cannabinoid medications such as Epidiolex, dronabinol or nabilone. Those are lawful, pharmacy-dispensed and frequently covered by insurance.
Indiana is a prohibition state with a busy hemp aisle, and conflating the two is how people get into trouble. If you are buying hemp products, treat them as full-strength and ask for lab results. If you are driving to Michigan or Illinois, leave what you buy on that side of the line.
