The Chattahoochee Riverwalk and its whitewater rafting course draw a steady stream of tourists downtown, none of whom can legally buy cannabis without a Georgia card regardless of home-state law. As SB 220's flower and vape allowance rolls out at the Manchester Expressway counter, Columbus State students and Fort Moore-area families alike are watching for the same product expansion already reaching other Georgia dispensaries this year.

Georgia legalized a narrow medical cannabis program in 2015 and spent nearly a decade building almost nothing on top of it - dispensaries did not open until 2023, and the product list stayed frozen at low-THC oil, capsules, and topicals capped at 5% THC.
