Utah does not have a recreational cannabis market; every legal purchase runs through the state's medical cannabis program under the Utah Medical Cannabis Act. Within that program, delivery is legal and well established. Licensed medical cannabis pharmacies (Utah's term for dispensaries) and separately licensed medical cannabis courier companies, both regulated by the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food, deliver to registered patients across most of the state. Delivery in Utah comes from two license types working together: the medical cannabis pharmacy that fills the order, and either its own in-house drivers or a licensed courier company that transports it.
