Retail sits downtown on South Summit Street beside the University of Akron campus, in North Hill on East North Street, and out on the city's south and east edges along East Archwood Avenue and Canton Road, with four more counters just outside the line in Cuyahoga Falls and Tallmadge. Highland Square, Fairlawn, Barberton, and Stow have none of their own.
