Competition among treatment centers is real, and discounts are aggressive: first-time patient offers, veteran and senior discounts, and frequent brand promotions are all standard.

Can I buy flower?
Yes, if your physician authorized smokable flower on your certification. It is capped at 2.5 ounces per 35 days. If it is not on your certification, no dispensary can sell it to you.
Do I pay sales tax?
No. Florida does not apply sales tax to medical cannabis, so the shelf price is close to what you actually pay.
Is delivery available?
Yes, statewide, and many treatment centers deliver free. It is one of the strongest features of the Florida program.
Can I use my card in another state?
Florida has no reciprocity agreements, but some states accept out-of-state cards for visiting patients. Check the rules of the state you are traveling to before you rely on it, and never transport product across a state line.
Where can I legally consume?
In a private residence with the owner permitting it. Smoking medical cannabis in a public place is prohibited by statute, and vehicles, beaches and hotels are all excluded.
