First, the effect people report from AK-47 is duration rather than intensity — it has carried a reputation for decades as a long-lasting cultivar. Second, potency numbers in the 1990s and early 2000s were measured on different flower grown under different conditions, and today’s labeled percentages have inflated across the whole market. A 19% AK-47 with a full terpene panel is a more interesting product than a 28% modern cross that tested high and smells like sugar.
